My Town Your Town

My Town Your Town [MTYT] is a training program aimed at increasing the employability, skills and inclusion of young people through the development of intergenerational tourism. It is intended primarily for young people aged 18 to 30 years. It is funded by the European Union, the Erasmus + Youth Program.

In collaboration with mentors, the young people worked on creating a new narrative interpretation of an existing or new tourist destination in their local area. The Murtila Association dealt with the problem of the tourist offer of smaller, rural places. As an example, there were places in the Sisak-Moslavina County from the area covered by LAG Una.

The model will better represent the multicultural aspects and European values of smaller places in order to better adapt the offer of your place / city to the visitors of the 21st century.

The project was created within the Erasmus + cooperation of partners from Cyprus, Italy, Greece, Great Britain and Croatia (project code: 201702-CY02-KA205-001033) who, each in their local community identified problems related to youth unemployment, social inclusion and cohesion, tourism and culture.

As a result of the project, a project website, training model and brochure, a cluster called Court Basket and Erasmus+ Club were created.
